Besides Cellebrite is there an alternative - Digital Forensics Forums ...

I've used quite a few of the mobile forensics tools out there and at the moment there are two stand outs, XRY and Cellebrite, really I don't think anyone else is even close when it comes to the physical dump and decoding of phones.

There is a small tool called iXam which is iOS only tool that can also bypass iPhone lock but they seem to have fallen a bit further behind XRY and Cellebrite when it comes to iPhones.

I know EnCase is delving into phones and FTK have a solution, but my opinion is they should stick to computer forensics and leave the phones to the specialists, I was very underwhelmed when testing their tools, so much so that no matter what they do they would virtually have to give it to me for free before I'd even consider using them again.....but that is my personal opinion only. Same goes for Oxygen and the other software only solutions, they are tourists at best

You other option is looking at flasher boxes, but that's a whole other area of expertise that I've not had much experience in. ?
