Nebraska program schedules women's archery classes - Artesia News

LOUISVILLE, Neb. (AP) ? The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled women?s archery classes for May at Platte River State Park near Louisville (LOO?-is-vihl) in eastern Nebraska.

The classes are being presented by the Beyond Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program. They will be held each Wednesday in May.

Participants may attend any of the classes. They Introduction to Archery on May 8; on May 15 is Shopping for Women?s Bows; on May 22, Tuning Your Bow; and on May 29, Fun with Archery.

The classes cost $5 each and run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Roger G. Sykes Outdoor Heritage Education Complex. Loaner bows will be available.
