Sunday, July 22, was quite the big day for Selena Gomez as the brunette beauty bid farewell to her teenage years and turned 20 years old. To celebrate her venture into young adulthood, the ?Love You Like a Love Song? songstress opted to spend her special day at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards.
Selena Gomez was picture perfect in pink as she arrived at the Gibson Amphitheatre for the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. The just turned 22-year-old strutted her stuff in a slinky Dsquared2 magenta dress and white Herve Leger heels. Her fit-and-flare frock perfectly matched the pink carpet at the Gibson Amphitheatre. Miss Gomez balanced the high-wattage hue and sexy footwear with long, straightened locks, smokey eye makeup and minimal jewelry. The ?Hit the Lights? songstress was nominated for three awards including Choice Single by a Group, Choice Music Group and Choice Female Hottie. She scooped the prize for Choice Music Group with her band The Scene.

The Disney babe showed off her enviable figure in a flirty, pink Dsquared2 dress and cream Herve Leger sandals.
Selena was nominated for three awards on the show and took home a surfboard for Choice Music Group.
"This is the best birthday present ever," Gomez said after she was presented with her Teen Choice surfboard. When the pop star stepped on stage to accept the award on behalf of her band Selena & The Scene, she was surprised with a birthday cake and a rousing rendition of ?Happy Birthday? from the Teen Choice Awards? audience.
Selena Gomez received cupcakes topped with glowing sparklers for her to blow out.
The birthday girl even hit the stage to help present an award with actress Zooey Deschanel.
Hosted by Demi Lovato and Kevin McHale, the 2012 Teen Choice Awards featured performances by Selena's boyfriend, Justin Bieber, as well as No Doubt, Flo Rida and Carly Rae Jepsen. The cast of "The Twilight Saga" turned out to be big winners of the night Sunday, taking home ultimate choice, the Teen Choice Awards' lifetime achievement honor. Other winners included Ellen DeGeneres, Taylor Swift, Zac Efron, Miley Cyrus, Josh Hutcherson and the cast of The Vampire Diaries.
