That portion of the population which intends to work in the marketplace, and gets an education, and cultural acclimatization to be successful is reaping most of the benefits of an increasingly complex economy. What is strange about that? Nothing. Its always been true. What's new is that the competence level to do well in the marketplace is going up, while the number of people putting in the effort to get an education is going down. It is too much to expect a 13 year old to be mature enough to figure out the value of education.
